Walworth School District Summer Food Program 2019
Dr. Mary Ann Kahl
Monday, June 17, 2019

Stressing the importance of offering nutritious meals to children during the summer months, Walworth School District #1 will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) in the summer of 2019!

Walworth Elementary and  Middle School will provide free meals to children ages 18 and under June 17-July 12, 2019, in the school cafeteria.

 Breakfast will be served from 7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Meals will be served Monday-Friday, with the exception of July 4-July 5, 2019, when the school will be closed in observance of the holiday.  All meals must be eaten on site.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well.

Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service.

Please contact Mrs. Beth Grever, Food Service Clerk, if you have questions or need further information about this program: beth.grever@walworth.k12.wi.us or call 262-275-6896 extension 1207.
