Food Clerk/Business Office Assistant
The Food Service Clerk/Business Office Assistant supports the District's Breakfast/Nutrition Break, Lunch, and Milk Program through maintaining accurate accounting, billing, and bookkeeping of food service related functions; overseeing food service compliance and regulatory processes and reporting functions; coordinating the free and reduced meals program to include processing of applications; supporting the daily operations of the meal program; assisting with bookkeeping and other business office functions; assisting the District Office with clerical related duties and other regulatory and reporting functions. Some supervisory duties of students may, on occasion, be required. The position does not require any supervisory or evaluation duties of staff.
The position requires physical strength to lift items needed to perform the functions of the job; ability to stand for required periods of time; stamina for extended periods of time looking at computer screen.
Clerical, Accounting, and/or Bookkeeping background and bilingual skills are helpful but not required.
