(A) General Fund: The General Fund Mill Rate increased by $0.05 due to a reduction of state aid, an increase in private school vouchers, and an increase due to per pupil funding.

(B) Debt Service Levy Fund: The Debt Service Mill Rate decreased by $0.05 due to an increase in equalized property values.

(C) Referendum Levy: The Referendum Mill Rate is $1.53; during the referendum information sessions, the presentation estimated that if the referendum were to pass the Referendum Mill Rate would be $1.54. The Referendum Mill Rate was $0.01 lower than estimated due to the assessed property values being higher than estimated.

(D) Transfer of Service Levy: The Transfer of Service Exemption 121.91(4)(a)3 Wis. Stats. provides that a school district which assumes responsibility for a program or service from another governmental unit may request and be granted an exemption to the district revenue limit equal to the increased cost due to that program or service. (E) Community Service Fund Levy: The Community Service Mill rate is $0.08 and is unchanged from 2023-2024.

(F) Prior Year Chargeback: There is no Prior Year Chargeback for 2024-2025.

(G) Total Tax: The total Mill Rate for Walworth Jt. School District #1 is $5.69/$1,000 of Equalized Value.

(H) Increase from Prior Year: The Mill Rate Increase from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025 is $1.66. Please note that mill rates are calculated to several decimal points and rounding may occur.
