“Golden Moments” began in May of 2017. Students have thrived with their intergenerational connections with the “grandmas” and the “grandpas” in the classroom and in the Golden Years residential areas.
Due to Covid, our connections have been limited during the last 3 years to drive-by visits and holiday deliveries.
This event was our first face to face interaction since 2019. We absolutely LOVED our day spent in the Outdoor Classroom with our new special friends. We engaged in “canoe races”, made “treats”, friendship bracelets, and shared much outdoor FUN.
