In the first year of combining grades 6 and 7 for girls basketball at Walworth Jt. School District #1, the team finished with a 6-3 record.
"The girls basketball season was a success," said Coach Niki Petersen. "The girls learned teamwork and fundamentals this season."
The eighth-grade team ended the season with a win against Reek at a tournament . It finished with a 5-5 season record. The fifth-grade team focused on in-school scrimmages and fundamentals, according to Petersen.
