Three volleyball teams recently began action for the Walworth Jt. School District #1. An eighth-grade team also includes four seventh-graders on it.
There is also a seventh- and sixth-grade team, as well as a fifth-grade squad. Lucy Bernal coaches the fifth graders. Niki Petersen coaches the "B" team and Travis Alexander coaches the "A" team.
"We have about 46 total girls that play this season," said Alexander.
The Wildcats lost two sets to one in both A and B matches to Fontana recently. They had an away meet at Reek recently and had a home meet against Sharon on Thursday.
