The winners have been announced for the annual Trunk or Treat event, which was held Oct. 22 at the Big Foot High School parking lot in Walworth. The event was put on by the Walworth Parents Club, the Walworth Police Department and the Walworth Fire Department.
Daniel's Food won the award for the best game with tires and a race track. The best decoration went to the Disney princess and castle, while the best overall winner was Fairy Land with all of its plants.
"It was a beautiful day with 27 cars, including a fire truck, haunted school bus and a cowgirl rodeo trunk," said Niki Petersen, an event organizer.
She said approximately 300 people attended the event to trick or treat before the actual Halloween date.
