For those who like to plan ahead, the 2023-24 school calendar has been released for the Walworth Jt. School District #1. The first day of school will be Sept. 5, 2023, the day after Labor Day. The last day of school, an early-release day, will be June 4, 2024. That will also be eighth-grade graduation day.
The holiday breaks will run from Nov. 22-26, Dec. 22-Jan. 2, and March 23-31. Teacher inservice before classes begin will be Aug. 28-31.
There will be 176 school days, with quarters ending Nov. 3, Jan. 18, March 22 and June 4. There are some early-release dates and parent conference dates. The calendar is attached.
