Through their stories, experiences, and insights, these presenters helped students explore a variety of career paths and gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to them in the future.

In honor of Memorial Day, the kindergarten students attended a special flag presentation given by Mr. Kahl. Mr. Kahl spoke with the children about flag etiquette, the meaning behind the stars and stripes, and demonstrated how to properly fold the flag. Each child was also presented with their very own flag to keep.

The 8th Grade ACP Future Career Fair will be next Thursday, May 28, from 8:30 to 10 AM. The eighth-grade students researched a career of their choosing. Students worked diligently to create a portfolio to display for all of our Walworth students and family members to see. This aligns with our school's implementation of ACP (Academic and Career Planning) program.

Students participated in an admissions presentation, explored the beautiful campus, and learned more about future college and career opportunities. To wrap up the day, everyone enjoyed some fun and teamwork while bowling at Warhawk Lanes 🎳

Pop a Top for Water! 💧
After learning about the water crisis in South Sudan during 6th-grade social studies, our students wanted to take action and make a difference. They decided to start a schoolwide pop-top collection to raise money for Water for South Sudan.
From now until Friday, May 29, each classroom will have a gallon jug to collect pop tops. The three classrooms that collect the most pop tops will earn freeze pops!
All collected pop tops will be recycled, and the money earned will be donated to Water for South Sudan. Thank you for helping our students support this important cause!

At Havenwoods State Forest, students participated in two engaging ranger-led programs where they learned more about nature, wildlife, and the environment. It was a great opportunity to explore, ask questions, and connect with the natural world. 🦌🌳
The adventure continued at Klode Park along Lake Michigan, where students had a blast skipping rocks and wading in the cool water. 🌊🪨 There’s nothing better than learning and making memories outside!
