This week is Adult Crossing Guard Recognition Week! I know some of you have already done this, but please take a moment to show your appreciation for our incredible Adult Crossing Guards — Mrs. Peg Hubertz, Mrs. Suzie Fairchild, and Mr. Don, Miss Wilson, and Mrs. Wohlbedacht.
They split up their day, every school day, to make sure our kids get to and from school as safely as possible across some of our busiest roadways. There are not many people able — or willing — to stand outside for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, in all kinds of weather, to keep our students safe.
Your dedication, care, and commitment to our children do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for each of you — this week and every day!
