Big Foot Area Schools Closing  Dear Families, Governor Tony Evers has issued a statewide closure of all schools in Wisconsin.  We will close after school on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and tentatively reopen on April 6, 2020.  The closure will include cancellation of all school related activities and childcare.  Teachers will be sending information for virtual learning, and some may send paper work as well.   The Department of Public Instruction is working on guidance for schools, and it remains unclear if there will be any lost instructional days forgiven by the state.  More information will be made available as soon as updates are received.  Respectfully, Big Foot Area Schools Administrators

***Cierre de Escuelas del Area de Big Foot*** Estimadas familias,  El Gobernador Tony Evers ha emitido un cierre estatal de todas las escuelas en Wisconsin. Cerraremos después de la escuela el Miércoles, 18 de Marzo del 2020 y regresaremos tentativamente el 6 de Abril del 2020. El cierre incluirá la cancelación de todas las actividades relacionadas con la escuela y el cuidado de los niños.  Los maestros enviarán información para el aprendizaje virtual, y algunos podrian  enviar documentos tambien.   El Departamento de Instrucción Pública está trabajando en la orientación para las escuelas, y aún no está claro si el estado perdonará los días de instrucción perdidos. She read cute stories, the children played with her fabulous collection of finger puppets, and everyone enjoyed her delicious home-made cookies for snack! The Koala Hospital Port Macquarie, Australia, received $600.00 (Australian) from a campaign led by Ms. Boldger’s kindergarten students. During the first 2 weeks in January, the children counted money donated by peers, friends, staff and student council.
