Spring has blossomed in Ms. Boldger’s Jr. kindergarten class...Introducing “SIMBA”, the baby Lion Head bunny. He joined the classroom as our forever pet and has captured the hearts of all who have met him. We will be sharing many stories in our future. Along with our joy in having Simba with us, the children are in AWE of spring and continue to marvel at the beauty this season brings. We have observed baby chicks, and air flow with our “ wind wands”. We also planted and nurtured grass seeds and watched a “yard” grow right before our eyes. Our new frog themed story table has inspired all sorts of language and concepts in math .... to be continued. Welcome SPRING! #earlychildhoodeducation #WalworthJ1

This student is a fine example of taking his talent for drawing and using it to educate younger students! He created an "emoji" feelings book and led a class discussion about not only his talent, but also the importance of sharing feelings with others! #WalworthProud #WalworthJ1

Walworth School Sunday Staff Spotlight Meet Mrs. Stilling ~ Physical Education Teacher How long have you worked in the district? What is your background in education? This is my first year teaching, as well as, my first year at Walworth and I am absolutely loving it so far. My background is in Physical Education. Where is your hometown? I grew up in Williams Bay but went to high school in Burlington. Where did you attend college? Iowa State University, where I played volleyball as well. Tell us about your family. My husband and I have three fur babies and my mom, grandma, dad, aunt & uncles, and cousins all pretty much live in Walworth county. Some of them within walking distance. My little sister is a freshman at the University of Illinois-Springfield. What’s your favorite food or restaurant? Pickles :) Do you have any pets? I have two cats and a 9 month old puppy. My cats names are Maizy and Milo and my black lab puppy’s name is Bucky. Story time, Milo went missing and was found in our walls three days later… ha! Fun fact: I have played volleyball in 7+ countries, as well as, was picked to travel to Europe with the USA collegiate volleyball team in 2017. #WalworthSundayStaffSpotlight #WalworthJ1
