Meet Mr. Heck ~ Sixth Grade Math Teacher
How long have you worked in the district? What is your education background?
I graduated from UW-La Crosse in December of 2013 and moved back to Burlington to take a long term sub position at Karcher Middle School, before being hired at Walworth in the summer of 2014.
Where is your hometown?
I grew up in Burlington, WI and graduated in 2009.
Where did you attend college?
After high school I attended UW-La Crosse where I majored in Elementary Education with a Math Minor.
Tell us about your family.
I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my baby niece who was born in September. The picture is my sister Rayann and I dancing at her wedding last fall.
What activities do you enjoy outside of school?
In my time outside of school I coach wrestling and football at Big Foot, so my fall and winter are very busy.
Do you have any pets?
I have one pet named Cubbie, who is a white & orange long haired cat.

Our 7th/8th Student Council hosted a fantastic Winter Formal. Students danced the night away and had many laughs playing the "limbo!" It was great seeing so many of our students enjoy this social opportunity! #WalworthJ1
Danell Craig, with Dousman Bus Company, visited our early childhood classrooms to read "Pout Pout Fish." She also gave each student a fun coloring page and bookmark! #WalworthJ1

Inspired by Lois Ehlert's book, "Snowballs," the students in Ms. Boldger's junior kindergarten class, gathered newly fallen snow and used a variety of "loose parts" to create snow people. Each child created amazing sculptures and studied the melting process as well. #WalworthJ1

Meet Mrs. Janney ~ Junior Kindergartner Teacher
How long have you worked in the district? What is your education background?
This is my 16th year teaching junior kindergarten or kindergarten at Walworth. I completed my student teaching with Mrs. Boldger and Mrs. Wenzel!
Where is your hometown?
I grew up in Crystal Lake, IL and currently live in Woodstock, IL.
Where did you attend college?
I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
What’s the best thing about working in the district?
I absolutely love working with the Walworth students, families, and the most dedicated and caring staff ever!
Who has influenced you most in life? Both of my parents and my daughter have influenced me. My Dad was the hardest working man I know, my mom was always there filling our home and lives with love and care, and my daughter is so full of joy and loves life!
