Mrs. Niemuth's 3rd Grade ELA students finished up the Animal Classification Unit with an Animal Kingdom party. Students classified their stuffed animals into categories like: mammals, vertebrates, warm blooded, nocturnal, carnivores, and also discussed their animal's habitat while munching on animal crackers!

Mrs. Hummel’s Junior Kindergarten class and enjoyed their monthly
visit with Mrs. Gruetzmacher! The children loved her stories, puppets,
and delicious cookie!

Mrs. Janney and Miss Koltes' Kindergarten students enjoyed participating in Nursery Rhyme Olympics. The children had so much fun marching in the opening ceremony! They also had the opportunity to participate in several different Olympic events which included a Mother Goose Waddle, Baa Baa Black Sheep Sack race, Humpty Dumpty Egg race, Duck Duck Goose, Jack and Jill water relay and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star hurdles. The children were so excited to receive a very special trophy during the closing ceremony. A BIG THANK YOU to Mother Goose (Dr. Hajewski) and Humpty Dumpty (Mr. Hoey) for being part of our special day. We would also like to thank Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Alcozer, Mrs. Ortiz, and Ms. Biksacky for all of your help.

Congratulations to this week's Paw Print winners. Students receive a Paw Print for working hard and making Walworth a great school. On Fridays students who have earned a Paw Print during the week are entered into a drawing. Way to go Wildcats!
