It was buddy time for Mrs. Janney's kindergarteners and Ms. Gleeson's second graders! Together they listened to the story "There Was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow!" They also played a "Roll a Snowman" math game to build their own snowmen!

Our Junior Kindergarten classes enjoyed a wonderful visit from a community member. She read the big book The Mitten and the children were so interested in this cute story. Then she gave each student their very own special pair of hand-made mittens. The children were so excited to have a brand new pair of extra warm mittens! We appreciate her time and generosity sharing with us!

Adverse childhood experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years). We need to work together to make sure that our students experience as many Counter ACEs. What can you do to make a difference in the life of a child?
