The Guidance Department collaborated with New Beginnings the Association for the Prevention of Family Violence (APFV). The APFV presented to the 8th grade students about the importance of self-esteem, building resiliency in our youth, making healthy choices, and supporting others. The students completed a self-esteem project to go along with the presentation. #WalworthJ1

The Character Committee (C2) is sponsoring a monthly Character Trait Award to recognize students who exemplify the trait of the month. The students are nominated by their teachers and recognized with an award that is displayed in the school. October's trait was RESPECT. The students pictured demonstrate this trait.
