In honor of Memorial Day, the Kindergarten students attended a flag presentation given by Mr. Kahl a member Ingalls-Koeppen American Legion Post 102 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2373. Mr. Kahl talked with the children about flag etiquette, what the stars and stripes signify, and how to fold the flag. Each child was also presented with their very own flag to keep! A special thank you to Mr. Kahl for this meaningful and important lesson. 🇺🇸

Mrs. Hummel's junior kindergarten class enjoyed celebrating spring with two special visits from Mrs. Gruetzmacher! The children liked her sweet stories about spring and they had fun playing with her adorable puppets. Most of all, everyone loved her homemade delicious treats, cupcakes with spring sprinkles and chocolate cupcakes with caramel frosting! Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, Mrs. Gruetzmacher! We are thankful for you!
