This week is Adult Crossing Guard Recognition Week! I know some of you have already done this, but please take a moment to show your appreciation for our incredible Adult Crossing Guards — Mrs. Peg Hubertz, Mrs. Suzie Fairchild, and Mr. Don, Miss Wilson, and Mrs. Wohlbedacht.
They split up their day, every school day, to make sure our kids get to and from school as safely as possible across some of our busiest roadways. There are not many people able — or willing — to stand outside for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon, in all kinds of weather, to keep our students safe.

Your dedication, care, and commitment to our children do not go unnoticed. We are so grateful for each of you — this week and every day!

A heartfelt thank you to the Big Foot Community Fine Arts Foundation for generously sponsoring our 5th through 8th grade students to experience the incredible performance by The Fourth Wall!  🎭🎶

Because of your support, our students were able to witness a truly unique performance that blended music, acting, and movement in unforgettable ways. Some of our students were even lucky enough to be invited on stage to participate—an experience they will be talking about for years to come!

The Fourth Wall’s mission is to create programming that engages everyone—from elementary school children to classical performance connoisseurs—through a new hybrid of the performing arts in which musicians are also actors and dancers. In theater, breaking the fourth wall brings the world on stage directly into the audience. As an ensemble, The Fourth Wall breaks the barrier between serious art and serious fun, creating performances that are immersive, accessible, and inspiring.

Thank you for making the arts come alive for our students and for investing in experiences that spark creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. 🎭🎶 🪈🎺 🪗
