The Walworth Wildcats Class of 2021 is now graduating from high school! As they don their caps and gowns and step into a new chapter of life, we take a proud look back at the path they've walked to get here. It feels like just yesterday they were finishing 8th grade, saying goodbye to middle school hallways and preparing to spread their wings in high school. Back in 2021, they left Walworth with dreams in their eyes and a world of possibilities ahead. Now, in 2025, they’ve grown into resilient, compassionate, and ambitious young adults ready to make their mark. Their journey wasn’t always easy — they began high school in the shadow of a global pandemic, adapting to new ways of learning and connecting. But through it all, they remained strong, supported one another, and never lost sight of who they were: Wildcats. From classroom triumphs to athletic victories, school dances to late-night study sessions, and friendships forged along the way — each step brought them closer to this moment. Their legacy at Walworth lives on, not just in yearbooks and trophies, but in the values they carry forward: kindness, perseverance, and community. Congratulations, Class of 2021 — the future is yours to shape. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! 💛💜🐾💜💛 #WalworthAlumni #WalworthProud #WalworthJ1

Yesterday, the 8th Grade Future Career Fair was a tremendous success! Our eighth-grade students showcased their hard work and dedication by researching a career of their choice and creating impressive portfolios. These displays were shared with fellow Walworth students and family members, highlighting their passion and preparation for the future. This event is a proud part of our school’s commitment to Academic and Career Planning (ACP), helping students explore and prepare for the paths ahead. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone's efforts! A special thank you to Mr. K for organizing this meaningful event and to Mrs. Brungraber and Ms. Strohm for their assistance with the presentations. #WalworthProud #WalworthJ1

The 8th Grade ACP Future Career Fair will be on Thursday, May 29, from 8:30 to 10 AM. The eighth-grade students researched a career of their choosing. Students worked diligently to create a portfolio to display for all of our Walworth students and family members to see. This aligns with our school's implementation of ACP (Academic and Career Planning) program. If attending, please enter the school by the bell of Fremont Street and sign in as a guest at the Welcome Center. #WalworthJ1 #Walworth ACP

On Wednesday, May 7th, our 7th graders got to visit Truax Field in Madison, home of the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing (and the Dane County Regional Airport). Our students got to watch an F-35 take off, learn about the unique fire trucks used at an airport, learn about an F-35 jet, talk with an experienced Air Force pilot who flies the F-35, and spend some time with the EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team. We want to thank the 115th Fighter Wing and Fire Department for hosting us and the Ingalls-Kopeppen Post 102 for sponsoring and putting together this amazing opportunity for our 7th grade students. We would especially like to thank #WalworthAlumni, Mr. Michael Long, for coordinating this special experience. #WalworthJ1
