Mrs. Hummel had herJunior Kindergarten/Kindergarten Reunion with 8th graders! Her former students had a great time reminiscing about their time together 10 years ago, when they were in Junior Kindergarten and then together again in Kindergarten. The "children" loved receiving their adorable folder of treasures that Mrs. Hummel had saved for them! This reunion is something that Mrs. Hummel and her special students look forward to doing before the now "big kids" transition to high school!

The Walworth Wildcats Class of 2021 is now graduating from high school! As they don their caps and gowns and step into a new chapter of life, we take a proud look back at the path they've walked to get here.
It feels like just yesterday they were finishing 8th grade, saying goodbye to middle school hallways and preparing to spread their wings in high school. Back in 2021, they left Walworth with dreams in their eyes and a world of possibilities ahead. Now, in 2025, they’ve grown into resilient, compassionate, and ambitious young adults ready to make their mark.
Their journey wasn’t always easy — they began high school in the shadow of a global pandemic, adapting to new ways of learning and connecting. But through it all, they remained strong, supported one another, and never lost sight of who they were: Wildcats.
From classroom triumphs to athletic victories, school dances to late-night study sessions, and friendships forged along the way — each step brought them closer to this moment. Their legacy at Walworth lives on, not just in yearbooks and trophies, but in the values they carry forward: kindness, perseverance, and community.
Congratulations, Class of 2021 — the future is yours to shape. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! 💛💜🐾💜💛

Yesterday, the 8th Grade Future Career Fair was a tremendous success! Our eighth-grade students showcased their hard work and dedication by researching a career of their choice and creating impressive portfolios. These displays were shared with fellow Walworth students and family members, highlighting their passion and preparation for the future.
This event is a proud part of our school’s commitment to Academic and Career Planning (ACP), helping students explore and prepare for the paths ahead. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone's efforts!
A special thank you to Mr. K for organizing this meaningful event and to Mrs. Brungraber and Ms. Strohm for their assistance with the presentations.

In honor of Memorial Day, the indergarten students attended a flag presentation given by Mr. Kahl, a member Ingalls-Koeppen American Legion Post 102 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2373. Mr. Kahl talked with the children about flag etiquette, what the stars and stripes signify, and how to fold the flag. Each child was also presented with their very own flag to keep! A special thank you to Mr. Kahl for this meaningful and important lesson.
