Today, eleven 8th graders made their way to Washington DC! After the flight, they had an early lunch, visited the Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian Museum for African American History and Culture, the White House, and had dinner. After dinner, we visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. A great first day and excited for Thursday! #WalworthJ1
