The fifth grade has spent the last month participating in CounterAct with Sergeant Vogts, of the Walworth Police Department, and Mrs. Dowden. They learned about making healthy choices, not giving in to peer pressure, bullying, and strategies that help them know what to do in different situations involving the studied concepts. The 5th/6th grade intramural basketball program began this week. The 7th/8th grader are in charge of coaching and reffing! Next week games will be on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday we will conclude the intramural basketball program with the playoffs. #WalworthJ1

Our junior kindergartners enjoyed yet another wonderful walking field trip as part of our Community Outreach program. Last week our students had the opportunity to visit the Walworth Post Office and mail a very special Valentine card. Walworth second graders are learning about water safety through the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA Splash program. During their time at the Y they also get some fun time in the gym. Students will be traveling to the YMCA five times throughout the months of February and March. #WalworhJ1
