Our Junior Kindergarten classes enjoyed a wonderful visit from a community member. She read the big book The Mitten and the children were so interested in this cute story. Then she gave each student their very own special pair of hand-made mittens. The children were so excited to have a brand new pair of extra warm mittens! We appreciate her time and generosity sharing with us! #WeLoveWalworth #WalworthJ1

Adverse childhood experiences, or ACEs, are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood (0-17 years). We need to work together to make sure that our students experience as many Counter ACEs. What can you do to make a difference in the life of a child? #socialemotionallearning #WelnessWednesday #WalworthJ1

The Big Foot High School Child Development students have spent the last 2 weeks developing and administering their own lessons with their little buddies in Ms. Boldger's kindergarten class. The wonderful reindeer games and activities enabled the children to work on many skills and the delicious cookies baked by the teenagers added such fun to the lessons and thematic celebration. We LOVE our teens. Thank you for being so amazing! #WeLoveWalworth #WalworthJ1
