Miss Chorneyko and Mrs. Valenti's 2nd grade classes celebrated their first Knowledge Unit on Fairy Tales and Tall Tales by dressing up as their favorite fairy tale/tall tale character that they read about. They watched Beauty and the Beast and enjoyed delicious pancakes with whipped cream, blueberries, and bacon!

The 3rd graders at Walworth School were thrilled to receive their very own dictionaries from the State Line Grange members! This has been an annual program that they call "Words for Thirds." Even with all of the technology these days, the children absolutely love their dictionaries and look forward to using them throughout the years. Their favorite parts were the additional pages at the end, talking about the states and learning sign language!

🌎Yesterday Walworth celebrated World Kindness Day!🌎
Students and staff had fun eating popcorn, making a paper kindness chain link, and dressing up like each other! "Kindness is having empathy for others! Show empathy by walking in someone else's shoes! Students dress like teachers; teachers dress like students!"

Learning about kindness from the kindest person known …Mr. Rogers! ❤️
Popcorn party in the “movie theater” while listening to the wise words of Mister Rogers in Ms. Boldger's Junior Kindergarten Class.
“There are three ways to ultimate success: The first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.” ~ Mr. Fred Rogers

🌎World Kindness Day🌍
We are so excited to share that our school will be celebrating "World Kindness Day" on Wednesday, November 13th! Our 7th/8th grade Student Council has worked hard to plan a wonderful day for both students and staff!
Our celebration includes the following festivities ~
1. Free popcorn for all! Student Council wants to spread kindness by sharing their "yummy" popcorn with staff and students. 🍿
2. Students & staff will be working together to create a large "Kindness Chain" that will be hung throughout our school! The goal of this project will be to visually see how powerful all of our acts of kindness can be! Together we can make a difference!
❤️🔗🧡🔗💛🔗💚🔗💙🔗💜
3. Dress-Up Day! "Kindness is having empathy for others! Show empathy by walking in someone else's shoes! Students dress like teachers; teachers dress like students!" 🥰
4. Start of "Hunt Off Hunger" school-wide food drive! 🍞🪫
Sending Kindness Your Way! 💜💛
