Our junior kindergarten and kindergarten classes enjoyed a fabulous visit from Mrs. Danell Craig, with the Dousman Bus Company. She read the very funny and interactive story "The Wonky Donkey" and everyone loved it. Then they had a blast dancing to the song-version of the book!

Meet Ms. Dallesasse ~ Fifth Grade Language Arts Teacher
How long have you worked in the district? What is your background in education?
I have been teaching 5th grade Language Arts at Walworth for 17 years! I studied Early Childhood Education and worked in Childcare before getting my teaching license through Cardinal Stritch University. That is what brought me to Walworth! I also have a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Technology.
What activities do you enjoy outside of school?
Outside of school I like to be outside with my dogs, Toby and Max! We love to hike, kayak, explore, and go for drives in the Jeep with the top down! We are looking forward to many Jeep adventures this summer!
Do you have any pets?
As most people know, I LOVE dogs! My little Toby is a Russell Terrier and Max is a senior yellow lab and they are extremely cute, as you can see from the picture! Toby loves people and one of my goals is to get him certified as a therapy dog! I’d like to share his sweetness with the world! Max spent the first 9 years of his life as a field trial dog, working hard! He is living a luxurious life in his retirement!
Who has influenced you most in life?
I was VERY fortunate to be raised by two AMAZING parents. They are, by far, the most influencing people in my life! They are hard working, strong, and are both fighters! My mom is almost 20 years cancer free, and my dad is almost 10 years cancer free! They love and support me no matter what and I am so lucky they chose me! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Miss Koltes' kindergarten students put their STEM skills to good use at home with their family in order to build a leprechaun trap. The boys and girls came up with some very creative traps, but unfortunately we did not catch a leprechaun. 😉 🍀🌈
